Beauty
Ok, here is another random 70-er
Radha was world’s most beautiful girl. When the gods fell in love with her beauty and fought over her, Radha decided to run away to a place where there were no gods. She ran to the ends of the earth and wherever she ran she found the gods still fighting over her. Eventually she stopped running because she realized that the gods were too busy fighting over her to really notice her. And while they continued fighting, she married Hriday, a man who was blind.

Just in time! :-) I was going to harass you to update!
hahaha.. NICE!!
Good one!!! Ofcourse the blind man had to be called "Hriday"!!!! :-)
Payal: Practice what you preach--you are being very slack on the update front too!
Shilpa: Thanks
Nitu: Thanks and why not Hriday?
hmmm.. not to nitpick, but the gods would have still fought over her. The playboy gods of Hindu myth never shied away from extra marital flings!
Anti: True, our gods lead colourful lives and they continued fighting over her even after she got married. The fighting was too hard to give up
what in heaven's name is this woman?!! If this is the desi version of Haiku or zenisms or whatever...hehe but I liked the sheena meena story ;)
Yo.. next post pls...

Suren, I had actually written something for the blogathong but then pulled it out. But since you ask so nicely will put up something again ASAP. cheers.
that was a nice ending to a typical scenario.. funny enough i am always searching for a beautiful girl who is worthy of being in my life.. however the slightest blemish will put me off... maybe this story of radha will switch the lights in my head on and off and make me realise things to be a little different punjabi boy from uk.
